What size should I choose?
Please refer to the sizing finder to choose your best fit. For the best possible fit, use a tape measure around your calf and choose accordingly. Please note that this size finder does its best to account for all body types. If you are unhappy with how your size fits, please reach out to us and we can begin an exchange process. The size you choose also depends on your personal preference. Sizing up will give you a bit more wiggle room, and sizing down will give you a tighter fit. We recommend choosing based off the size chart for the best possible fit. If you are stuck between sizes due to conflicting shoe and calf size, please note that larger sizes will have more room in the foot and toe area.
How to take care of your compression socks?
To care for your compression socks and ensure they last longer, here are some general washing and care tips:
- Wash Regularly: Compression socks should be washed after every wear to remove sweat and bacteria.
- Machine Wash: You can machine wash your compression socks in cold water (preferably in a mesh laundry bag to avoid snags). Use a mild detergent and avoid using fabric softeners, as they can break down the elastic fibers in the socks.
- Hand Wash: If you prefer to hand wash, gently scrub them in lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Avoid wringing or twisting them to prevent damage.
- Drying: Never wring out your compression socks or put them in the dryer. Lay them flat to air dry or hang them to dry. Avoid direct heat or sunlight, as it can degrade the elastic fibers.
- Avoid Bleach: Don’t use bleach or other harsh chemicals, as they can damage the fabric and affect the compression.
- Storage: Store compression socks in a cool, dry place. Avoid folding them in a way that could stretch or weaken the fabric over time.

What are they made of?
80% Nylon + 20% Spandex
Our socks are made of 80% Nylon + 20% Spandex. We recommend washing cold and air drying to prevent shrinkage. No fabric softener.

As a diabetic trying to find compassion socks that don't crease your until it feels like it's cutting is hard. But nurse yard is comfy.
The mystery socks were appropriate for the upcoming holidays. I wish I would have found Nurse Yard around Halloween since that is my favorite holiday.
I thought for sure they would be some ugly leftovers that no one would want. But they were not, all were cute.
They are comfortable, some brands cut in, or are too long. These were not.
I am also a nursing professor, so I encourage my students to wear compression socks to support their legs. I show off the cute prints.

I measured and followed the recommended size, but found them to be far too tight: the customer service was outstanding and they quickly sent me the next size. I have tried them as well but still too tight around the top. I’m afraid they just aren’t going to work for me with swelling of my knee due to an injury…

I ordered two pairs and was pleasantly surprised by the pattern! Absolutely great! Unfortunately, there was a hole in one sock, which was annoying.

The mystery socks, like all from Nurseyard are wonderful compression socks. Best available. However, for an 85 year old dude, the pink ones proclaiming best nurse just are not suitable for wearing out and about. But, they were a mystery purchase. I will stick with the known in the future. No surprises.

I love the designs of the 2 'surprise socks' that I ordered. I would get more when I need them. I have several socks and all of them are worth it.
I have been wearing these compression socks for about 5 or so years. I love them. I started out wearing them when I was working 11 hour days, standing/walking on cement, in a bread production facility. They worked wonders then. I now work for the same facility but have an office job. I still wear them because I am now sitting most of the day. They still work wonders!!! The only gripe I have is when ordering the "blind box" they should have a box to check if you're a nurse or not. I'm obviously not a nurse but now I own a pair of compression socks that say " Worlds Greatest Nurse ". It's not like I won't wear them, but they should be reserved for a nurse.
Love my Nurse Yard compression socks, they are the very best! They fit well, are easy to get on and off, and greatly help with ankle & foot swelling due to surgery. I ordered 4 mystery socks and they're all adorable.

I really am blessed to have found Nurse Yard. I have been wearing compression stockings since 1973. These stockings are so comfortable and they truly help my legs. My only problem is taking them off. My husband helps with that. If you are in need of support then give Nurse Yard a try. Hero socks are fun but strong. NY regular stockings are just as comfortable but feel a little bigger. No problems though. They both are perfect.

One of my mystery socks was too small, it was the pair with the ambulance on the socks. I was disappointed 😞 but I was satisfied with the remaining 3 pairs.
